While pregnant with Petey, I gained 60 pounds! Well, Petey will be 4 months old this upcoming week and I have lost 30 of those pounds! Okay, well, its not great but its something. After having JJ, I participated in the Weight Watchers program and lost 23 lbs. so I figured if it worked once it will work again! I probably could do the program without going to the meetings but I find myself cheating a lot...I guess I just need to be held accountable by someone else.
I went to my first meeting last week and weighed in at 168.6. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. by May 28. Why the specific goal and date? Well, I weighed 137 before getting pregnant and if I can be that little after 2 babies, I can after the third. And the date? Well, Josh gave me a little incentive...when I reach my goal, Petey and I can travel to Panama City Beach to visit one of my best friends! May not be much to some, but since becoming a stay at home mom, 5 days with just one child would be a treat (not to mention visiting a long distance friend)! May 28 is 15 weeks away, 2 pounds a week will give me 30! And May 28 just happens to be Josh's 5 day stretch off work so someone to watch Kelsy and JJ won't be such an issue.
I'm trying to come up with little milestones along the way. I think I've decided on the following:
10 lbs. = lunch out with friends (no children!)
20 lbs. = manicure and pedicure
30 lbs. = trip to Florida
Let me know if you have any other ideas...
Today I went to my meeting and lost 3.2 lbs this week! Average to reach my goal is 2 lbs. a week, YEAH! I'm already ahead!!!

Our goals are very similar. June 1 is my date to have 20 lbs gone. That means when you come to visit me on May 28, we'll both look HOT and can strut in our bikinis on the beach!!! Well, maybe tankinis!
