My friend, Kate, just posted on her blog about this program. I highly encourage you to check it out. Because of an organ donor, my dad is living today!
H-E-R-O Movement is a non-profit organization whose goal is to significantly increase the number of people registered to become Organ Donors by providing information about registering and links to all state registries, and it was started by Nic Whitacre.
I have that I am a donor on my driver's license, but I have learned that that is a start, but not enough. I just registered on my state's donor registry. And, I have also talked to my husband about it.
I challenge you to be a HERO. It is so easy to go to this website to find out how to register to be an organ donor.
I then challenge you to forward the link to this web site to ten other potential HEROs.
You can be a HERO and save someone's life!

When my dad passed away, he was able to donate his skin and I also think his corneas. It really makes me proud to think that we CAN make a difference and save someone's life!
