Total Snowfall: 14 inches...a whole lot for Virginia Beach!
I'm so unprepared for this weather...Josh asked if I had boots and I said "Sure, but they all have heels!" Tennis Shoes don't work so well when you're getting pulled behind a bronco on a sled!
Yes, pulled behind a bronco! Virginia Beach closes the only real hill to sled on when it snows....go figure! So Josh improvises by tieing a rope to the back of the bronco. Last year, we had a cheap boogie board which fell apart after a few runs. This year, our neighbor gave us a real snow sled a couple of weeks ago so it held together quite nicely. We met up with a few friends and each child took their turn!!
Even Daddy!
Our friend, Doug, showed off doing 360 spins and jumping speed bumps! Kelsy and his daughter, Charlotte, were totally thrilled!The "Daddys" built a snowman while the kids mostly stood by freezing!
Did you notice JJ was nowhere in these pics?! He spent most of the time shivering in the bronco! Yep, he's a little....well, not like his daddy who loves this weather! But he enjoyed the hot chocolate!
Even Buster got out and enjoyed the snow!
