My Baby Daughter is 6

Kelsy turned 6 on Feb. 13! (Yes, i know, two weeks ago...) We had a busy day! Our friend, Colby, had his one year birthday party that day so we visited with him. And what a great surprise, his sister, Emma, gave Kelsy a birthday present at HIS party! It completely made her day! Arts and crafts with a Hannah Montana case to store it all in!

After lunch, we attended a baptism at church that I had the honor of speaking at. Kelsy loves attending baptisms! She's already planned her 8th birthday party/lunch for after hers...little Miss Party Planner!

Josh had to work at the fire station so we took cake and ice cream to the guys! How many little girls can say they had approximately 14 firefighters sing them Happy Birthday?!

And what a lucky duck?! We had her birthday party the following week so she got to make another wish! This year was Kelsy's year to have a BIG birthday and man did she ever!

That's right, Monster Trucks here we come! (definitely her daddy's girl!) And did you notice that its a Monster FIRE Truck! How awesome is that!

Let me back up for a minute....before we went to the rally, we had a wonderful party of pizza, cake, and ice cream at our home!

We played Pin the Spot on the Ladybug (Kelsy wanted the donkey but she was even more excited with the ladybug...she's Gramme's Bug!)

Then we had yummy food and very wonderful presents!

Then on the road to the MONSTER TRUCKS!!! What fun we had! The kids had a blast and the parents were exhausted...thanks to the men who assisted me!

What a great day! Happy Birthday, Kelsy!

Not only is she a good party planner, but she is a terrific hostess. MOm (the hostess with the mostess) has taught her well. Kelsy did so well as she tried to greet every guest, politely thanked them for coming, and tried to say goodbye to each. She is really growing up!
