We are excited to announce our newest addition!!!! Buster joined us tonight from a great family who did not have the time to devote to him. We're so excited and blessed with the circumstances from which he came. I noticed the ad on craigslist for him and immediately emailed for more info. Upon telling them about our story, they were impressed to bring Buster to us. Kind of ironic though, they called him Buddy and we (Caroline and Buster) share the same birthday!
Needless to say, we are calling him Buster so we do not forget our Buddy. He'll be a year next Friday. the 13th. He was just taken to the vet last month and is up to date on all shots for the year (we have the documentation!), as well, we have his flea and heart worm meds for the next year. Brian and Brittany accepted a lot less for him than the bill from the vet they paid last month so we are quite blessed!
Kelsy and JJ don't have any clue that we got him tonight so we'll see what their reaction is in the morning!

That was an awesome deal! Not only did you get to "skip" the first year which never is easy with a dog, (all the chewing and such), he came vaccinated, and with his "meds for the year"! Sweet deal! I bet the kids were so excited to see him! Congrats!
Very glad for you! He looks like a cute dog. We are looking forward to hearing the kids reaction in the morning... Plus, how is the dog with kids? =)
