American...
Yesterday I was riding in the van with the kids and they always ask to listen to the same song. JJ likes to listen to "Meet in the Middle" and Kelsy likes "American Girl." Kelsy has since made the connection that because she was born in America, she is an American Girl. While driving she asked "Mom, where was cousin Ria born?" When I told her Norfolk, she replied "Like me, that makes her an American girl!" She continued to ask where JJ was born. Well, he was born in Norfolk also. She looked at JJ and said "JJ, you're an American Boy!" JJ quickly replied "No I'm not!!! I'm an American MAN!!!!" What a smart three year old man!
