After 10 years....

My Virginia Teaching License expires June 2011 so since I've been at home the past two years, I haven't had the opportunity to get the continuing ed credit I need to renew it. {And this is something I definitely don't want to expire!} My only option, taking two college courses. After much research and prayer, Josh and I decided that it was time....

On December 2, I started my Master's program for Teaching English to Students of Other Languages. Its pretty cool. The entire program is online, 1 course per 8 weeks, I can take up to a 29 day break in between classes without penalty, and if I work straight through, I'll have my Master's from Grand Canyon University in April 2012!

I'm currently Licensed K-12 Mental Retardation, Learning Disabled, and Emotional Disturbance. When I'm finished, I'll add the endorsement of PreK-12 ESL. Yep...even with job cuts in the education field, I think they'll always be a need for me!

So glad you are doing something that excites you....Not that you don't have enough to do, but you'll do it and do it well.
I've appreciated your last blogs. ONly today I found my password for google, so now I can comment again. If I don't use it (password), I lose it. The result of a feeble memory.
with love...
