So, I have kind of procrastinated getting back into blogging. Mostly because I didn't want to write this one.
If you haven't noticed, my blog stops on day 3 of our vacation. Well, on day 4, I received a call from my sister....I think probably the hardest call she's had to make and I've had to receive. My dad became eternally cancer free on October 13 when he returned home to his Father in Heaven. After much discussion with Josh, we decided for him and the children to continue with the rest of the vacation as planned until arrangements were made. Josh and his Uncle Mark quickly found me a flight home. I am grateful that we did so since I was able to stay with my mother for the next 4 days and spend all my attention helping her.
Ok, so I'm done typing since the screen is now blurry from waterworks. Maybe later I can write a post expressing my love for my daddy...
love you, daddy!

Caroline, I'm so sorry. I know from experience how hard it is to lose your dad. I know you miss him. Hugs to you.
I am so sorry Caroline! Your dad was a great man.
I'm glad you're writing about your Dad and your loss of him. I've been reading just a little about the benefits of Journal writing... anyway... I'm glad you're doing it as you can!
Love you.
So sorry for you loss. What an incredible father and legacy he left as you said! I hope you can heal and be happy. Love your guts! And I hope J.J's eye heals quickly! Poor guy! ;)
