Our Jackolantern

So, Josh gave me a hard time saying that he'd been the only one writing blogs...so I guess its my turn! (Mine probably won't be nearly as expressive as Josh's entries)

After going to the pumpkin patch, Kelsy and JJ were very intent on carving a jackolantern. So, needless to say, Mom and Dad got the knife out and started scooping pumpkin!

Kelsy was not too pleased with the scent of the pumpkin.

Our pumpkin had been sitting for a while so the inside was very stringy which made it difficult for Josh and I to clean out...JJ found this very interesting.

But I eventually gave up trying to get the pumpkin completely cleaned out and began to carve. (Who needs a clean inside when Halloween is a day away?)

We set the pumpkin outside with a candle just in time for a few visitors to see our creation!

I don't have a calendar set up for that time, but I'm pretty sure we don't have firm plans. So, we'd like to make plans with you for a specific time in January (so we can work on getting Jess some time off while you're here). Also, if you have some specific stuff you'd like to do (without us, especially) please let us know when during your visit, cause we'll use that a work time for Jess. ;) We'll love to have you visit... and it WILL be fun to have Petey and Tea together for the first time. It'll be interesting to see if they're the same size or not by then!!! ^_^
